Dallas, TX — The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the world’s oldest and the most prestigious automobile races in the world, and for the 87th running of the legendary endurance race, de Boulle Motorsports has partnered with official team sponsor BRM Chronographes. To celebrate Le Mans the collaboration of the two brands is launching an exclusive and iconic timepiece.
The de Boulle 24H Le Mans Edition– one for each hour of the epic endurance race – and it will feature the de Boulle logo across the carbon fiber dial. In addition, at the 12 o’clock position the watch will have a “24” inside the sub-dial to indicate its purpose of timing cars in the pursuit of crossing the finish line first after two trips around the clock.
Vivid in titanium with bursts of de Boulle’s signature yellow, the limited edition of 24 timekeepers will be revealed at the race which will take place June 15-16, 2019.
The watch is based from BRM V12-44-SA-AR model which is 44mm in diameter. With a titanium PVD coated case and open case back the entire look is racy and modern, much like the 600hp LMP2 cars that travel at over 210mph around the famed Circuit de la Sarthe of Le Mans, France. At the 2 o’clock and 4 o’clock positions, titanium black PVD chronograph pushers operate the chronograph complication with a 60-second counter at the 9 o’clock position, an hour counter at the 6 o’clock and a minute counter sub-dial at the 3 o’clock position. In addition, the date is displayed in a small aperture just past the 4 o’clock marker.
The timepiece’s automatic movement features 27 jewels, a 46-hour power reserve and operates at 28,800 VPH. The piece is ideal for racing enthusiasts who welcome the fiercest of competition. Fitting with its racing themed active lifestyle design, it is water resistant to 100 meters and comes with a 3-year warranty.
