On Sunday, December 4th, the River Oaks District in Houston organized its annual Ferrari Festival presented by Ferrari of Houston.
The event drew car enthusiasts both owners and spectators who appreciate the beauty of these exceptional cars. This year, the Ferrari Festival attracted several hundred people and showcased 80 different Ferrari models, all to benefit Texas Children’s Cancer Center.
Ferrari owners were encouraged to register their cars for $400 to help raise money for the charity and the public was asked to make a $5 donation.
Nick Boulle, an avid car enthusiast and racecar driver entered his Ferrari Racecar into the Festival, which ultimately won in the Best Racecar category.
Another fan favorite was the new Ferrari 296 GTB, a plug-in hybrid, which was on display.
The River Oaks District provided the perfect backdrop for the cars with its relaxed, yet elegant setting. Attendees were encouraged to roam around the District, admire the cars, speak with the Ferrari owners, and pop into the shops for some morning treats. de Boulle Houston invited everyone to enjoy a cup of coffee and some yummy Voodoo Doughnuts.
Overall, the Festival was a wonderful day and raised significant money for Texas Children’s Cancer Center. Over the past 10 years, the Festival has generated more than $500,000 for the hospital. At de Boulle, we are proud to support such a worthy cause.
